Although the past few decades the shift of world’s focus has been moved from many countries but one country remained in the light consistently and has been a major interest to world’s powers and that country is Pakistan. Rigged with wrong political interpretations which almost criminally neglected the dimension of geo-social variables of Pakistan and even the vested interests of its people and ravaged by its value as one of most strategically important country for world’s greatest powers, the country itself a miracle to even standing as it is and promising a strong future too. One would readily hear the cons that this country has to offer to an outsider but no one would venture even a moment to probe for the cause of those strong allegations and in many situations that are presented upon Pakistan. Pakistan, in its many phases, showed the world its potential and that potential itself is the main cause of the dark image projected around the world. One would hardly believe the numerous errs of this nation that are fundamentally shared by all the developed countries and it would be even harder to believe that how better the nation is coping up with those shortcomings even when politically it is still finding its balance. Economics calls the shots in modern world and economics is answering those question raised against Pakistan. The foreign investment gradually increased in past decade and the industrial and services sector’s growth is remarkable. Pakistan is a tragic victim of immature electronic media both on land and beyond borders with India actively participating in deteriorating that badly damaged image further and being neglected by questionable behaviour of Pakistan’s so called benefactors. The Geo-political location of Pakistan condemned it to a struggle that many countries, of the same age, had never had to go through with. The beyond borders insurgencies, on one hand, lead it to fight on various fronts and international propaganda, on the other hand, makes it stand rather too defensive and apologetic. Pakistan played a central role in America’s War on Terror and it has to bear the consequences becoming an ally in that war and those consequences are even greater and more formidable than even what Afghanistan has to suffer. Afghanistan had nothing to lose but Pakistan, being a quite stable country, has more than the lives of its civilian at stake and finally being acknowledged that it delivered. The ‘Do More!’ policy stretched both its political leadership and army to its very extent but never the country lost its control over the issue and many, almost all of them that were created through this alliance are now gone are in the process of being handled. Globalization and the electronic media is like flea or an insect that only sits and eat the darkness and then feed it to others. One must see Pakistan first hand to know what a country it is and how perfectly it depicts a story of struggle which consistently recited, underlined in every phase. One should know of its history, its potential and also the promise of its future before passing a remark on it, not only it is just but also how one must treat a great country which survived such political desolation and enmity of its neighbours. One is too quick to condemn the army of Pakistan but if would closely observe the dangers the country had to face there is no conclusion other than that that the army may be the sole reason, apart from the people of Pakistan, of this great survival and promising future.
